I attended the Frogtown RIver Art Festival along the LA river walk. I was fascinated by the urban and natural elements of the area. Using a layering technique I combined the wall, graffiti, water, and the man in the kayak in 2 of my photos, to create the composition. My goal was to encapsulate the spirit of the LA River Walk showcasing its unique blend of urban artistry and natural beauty which is Los Angeles. I incorporated the existing wall graffiti to add a raw, edgy feel, reflecting the urban culture of Los Angeles, while the water and kayak introduce a sense of movement and tranquility. My idea was to imply that the juxtaposition of these elements creates a narrative about the coexistence of nature and urban life in the city.I added the kayaker moving downriver to symbolize the flow of life and the ongoing interaction between the natural environment and human activities.
