This series of black and white photographs features a dramatic, almost surreal scene centered on escalators. I’m interested in creating architectural details that have movement. I was fascinated by the contrast between light and shadow, along with the reflective surfaces, to create a futuristic and dream-like atmosphere.  In 2 of the photographs, a solitary figure stands on the escalator, adding a sense of scale and mystery. The background consists of myriad architectural elements and reflections, creating a layered and complex 3-dim. space.
