Los Angeles Revisited

My series "Los Angeles Revisited" encapsulates the layered and dynamic nature of urban spaces. I used a composite technique to merge the different views and elements of the city, providing a multifaceted perspective that reveals the complexity and richness of Los Angeles. I blended architectural features with natural elements, such as trees and foliage, to create a harmonious interplay between the built environment and nature. Using light and texture to add depth and a dreamlike quality to the images, inviting viewers to explore the various layers and details. The repetition of visits to these landmarks and spaces has allowed me to capture them from unique angles and viewpoints, to provide fresh insights and deeper appreciation of their intricacies. I want my photographs to reflect my personal connection to these places and my evolving perception of them over time. By revisiting and reinterpreting these familiar sites, I try to create a visual narrative that emphasizes the passage of time and the changing perspectives that come with it. I chose to create the images to stand as a testament to the ever-evolving nature of urban landscapes and the memories and experiences they hold.
