The butterfly and dragonfly represent the delicate beauty and vibrant colors of the insect world. I was attracted to the intricate patterns, rich hues and fragility of the butterfly's wings. Along with the Dragon Fly these insects symbolize grace and agility. The backgrounds, with a textured and layered appearance, serve to enhance the overall visual impact, creating a sense of depth. My use of vibrant colors against the more subdued, earthy tones of the backgrounds makes the subjects stand out, drawing the viewer's attention to their intricate details. I strove to not only showcase the beauty of these creatures but also convey a sense of tranquility and appreciation for nature's wonders.
