Remember

This series of photographs is meant to capture deeply personal and reflective moments, that illustrate the emotional journey I experienced during my long recovery of 3 broken ankle bones.. I used a B&W palette to enhance the sense of nostalgia and introspection, emphasizing the contrast between my past and present. I used a layered composition to mirror the complexity of my memories, blending different elements that represent various aspects of my life. The reflections in the window serve as a metaphor for how we view our past, sometimes clear and vivid, other times fragmented and distorted. The presence of the dog suggests companionship and comfort, while the hints of other scenes evoke memories of places and people who have been significant in my life. I used light and shadows to add a mysterious quality, inviting viewers to delve deeper into the image and discover the stories behind each layer. I wanted the viewer to experience the emotional landscape of my recovery period, filled with reflection, longing, and a deep connection to my past.
